It refers to the special functions the group moderator can exercise with regard to the material published in the blog by other group members. It is basically a matter of control and supervision to ensure the quality and coherence of this material.

The moderator can:

• Manage posts: this means editing or removing posts or news items written by other members of the group. Editing also includes creating versions of an existing item in Spanish or English. In this way, members who have configured the platform to use Spanish or English (in their personal preferences) will be able to see the item in those languages.
• Manage comments: this means editing or deleting comments made by other members about a particular item.

1-. Go to the group in which you are a moderator.

2- When you are in, go to the blog you want to moderate by clicking on its name in the Content section (left menu).

3- As moderator, in the horitzontal menu below the name of the blog you will see the Manage posts and Manage comments sections.

4- Click on the option you want:

a) Manage posts: when you are in this section you will see a list of all the items posted on the blog.

• To edit an item you only need to click on the [Edit] link which appears beside each item. When you have made the changes required, click on Save.

Editing also includes the possibility of creating a version of the document you are editing in Spanish (es) or English (en). To do this you only need to click on the corresponding language in the link Create a new version from the current version: es en (at the top of the screen).

The system will save the item in all the languages in which it has been written. Users who have set their preferences to view the platform in Spanish or English will then be able to see the item in those languages.

• To delete an item you only need to select the item you want to delete and click on Delete selected posts.

b) Manage comments: if you select this option, you can edit or delete comments in the same way that you edit or delete posts:

• To edit a comment, click on the [Edit] link which appears beside each comment in the list. When you have made the changes required, click on Save.
• To delete one or more comments, select them by checking the corresonding boxes and click on Delete selected posts.

If you are on a secondary page in the blog, apart from the two options above, in the menu to the right you will see the options: Edit this post or Create a new version: es en. These options are alternative ways to edit a particular item.
