What is it?

The platform is organised as follows:

The platform is an area to manage systems of public participation via internet. It brings together different portals or communities, allowing the residents of Catalonia to participate.

Logo Portal Portals

The e-Catalunya platform is divided into portals, each of which has a number of users.

Portals are specialised or aimed at a particular group of users (e.g. portals for Justice, Health, etc.).

Logo grupos Groups and sub-groups

Groups and sub-groups are sets of users belonging to a portal.

After logging on to the platform with your user name and password you will have access to the groups of which you are a member.

Logo Usuaris Users

A non-registered user is a person who logs on to the platform only for the purposes of consultation. A registered user or member can log on to the platform and consult, modify or post contributions.

People belonging to the e-Catalunya platform can belong to different groups in different portals.

These are the tools which facilitate communication and cooperation between the members of each portal (Mailing list, Blog, Calendar, Mailroom, Photograph album, Wiki, Repository, Forum).

What's it for?

The navigation system is designed to make it easy for users of the e-Catalunya platform to know where they are and where information can be found at any time.

A tree structure is used and this allows you to create groups and sub-groups, normally focussing on a particular subject. In this way users who need information can find what they are looking for without having to go through an index of activities, but by going directly to the group where they can find the information.

How do I use it?

1-On the Main page of the e-Catalunya platform, enter your user name and password.

2- Go to the portal you are interested in (e.g. Justice, Health, etc.).

3- Go to Main > Groups.

4- The screen offers you the options My groups and All groups . Click on the option and group you want.

5- When you enter the group, the menu on the left lets you see a list of sub-groups, among other options.

6- To see information about the members of the group and their contact details you can go to Group > Group members.
