1- When you access a portal or group, look at the notification panel under the top menu.

In the Members area, you will see how many users are on line (if there are any).
2- Click on the sentence "X are connected". You will go to the On line members page, where you can:
See the list of users who are on line and their contact details (name and surname, e-mail and messenger). If you click on the user's name, you will access the user's personal page.
Set privacy levels for who can see that you are on line:
From the Who can see I am on line option you can set privacy levels for your details. The visibility setting determines which users will see each of the details. The levels of visibility you can choose from the pull-down menu are as follows:
- Everyone: Everybody accessing the portal will be able to see if you are on line.
- No one: No other user will be able to see that you are logged on to the portal.
- My contacts: Only your contacts will be able to see that you are on line.
View the messenging tools other members are logged on to:
- Skype: http://www.skype.org
The icon tells you whether the user is currently logged on or not to Skype.
When you click on it, provided that you have Skype installed, the program will open and call the other user. It is important, if you want your status (on line or not) to be visible on the web, to indicate this in the program options.
- Yahoo Messenger: http://es.messenger.yahoo.com
The icon tells you whether the user is currently logged on or not to Yahoo Messenger.
If you click on it, provided that you have Yahoo Messenger installed, the program will open and a window will appear to chat with the other user.
- ICQ : http://www.icq.com
The icon is static; it does not give any information about the user's status. If you click on it, you go to the user's ICQ web profile page.
- AOL Instant Messenger : http://www.aim.com
The icon tells you whether the user is currently logged on or not to AOL Messenger. If you click on it, provided that you have AOL Messenger installed, the program will open and a window will appear to chat with the other user.
