a) To list all:
1- Go to Groups > All groups (pull-down list).
2- This is the default view once you are in the Groups area. You can also see it by using the Summary option from the menu on the left of the screen.
b) To Search for groups:
1- Go to Groups > Search for groups. You can use term search to find groups, entering one or more words from the group's name (the string must be typed as it appears). It is not case sensitive.
2- If the list of results you obtain from a search is too long, you can see a list of categories in the all categories pull-down list.
3- Select one and click on the icon beside it , and you will see a list containing only the groups belonging to the category chosen.
c) To search for groups by category:
1- Go to Groups > Groups by category (menu on the left of the screen).
2- Once you are in the Groups by category area, you will see the groups you have access to (private and public) and you can navigate through the groups and sub-groups until you find the group you want.
Note: If the portal administrators have not set up categories to classify the groups, the view will be very similar to the default view (Index or List all).
d) To search for groups by hierarchy:
1- Go to Groups > Summary (menu on the left of the screen).
2- Once you are in the Groups by hierarchy area, you will be able to see the groups you have access to and public groups. Use the pull-down menus to go from general groups to specific sub-groups, until you find the group you want. |
