a) To use the Members' area selective search facility:
1- Go to Members' area.
2- Type the name you are looking for in the Search box. You can search by first name or surname.
3- You can apply filters to the search. Go to the Filter pull down menu and select All or Only contacts.
4- Click on the icon beside the pull down menu. You will then see a list of results on the screen.
b) To find a user's name with the alphabetical index:
1- Go to Members' area.
2- The alphabetical index which appears horizontally on the screen allows you to see All or to Choose the letter with which the user's surname begins. The results of the search are ordered alphabetically by surname.
3- Beside each search result you will see this icon: . It will enable you to view the user's page, containing personal details, recent postings and public tools.
c) To obtain more information about registered users (name, e-mail, etc.)
1- Go to Members' area.
2- Click on the Details view. The search results are listed alphabetically by surname and the users' e-mail also appears. In addition the View user page icon allows you to access the summary showing personal details, recent postings and the public tools assigned to the user. You can also add a contact by clicking on the icon. A window will open, asking for your e-mail and the type of contact (work, friend, etc.) |
