How to publish a new topic (start a thread) on a Forum

What is it?

This option lets you open new topics, or threads, on the Forum. The responses to an initial posting are shown linked to it below. In this way, a virtual debate can take place, developing out of the contributions of the other members of the group.

What's it for?

For publishing a new topic on the Forum.

How do I use it?

1- Go to the Forum you are interested in. If it belongs to a particular group, go to Groups > Group > Contents > Forum. If you want to access a Forum belonging to the portal, you only need to select it using the Tools option in the menu on the left hand side of the portal's main page.

2- Click on the Botó Tema nou New topic icon.

3- Complete the Subject and message body fields. Write the name you want to assign to the new Forum topic in the Subject field.

4- Write the message in the Message body field.

5- Click on Submit.
