These are the various utilities available to a group or a portal. Please bear in mind that a group or a portal may not have some of the standard tools - the tools available to you are determined by the group's or the portal's administrator.

For example, a group or a portal could have one or more active forums, a Wiki space (where you can exchange documents and edit a web page in a user friendly format), a mailing list which allows you to send e-mails to the group, a Calendar where activities can be added and edited, and/or a Blog for giving news, among other options.

All of these options are configurable by the group or the portal administrator.

All of the tools on the platform (Blog, Calendar, Discussion Forum, Mailroom, Photograph album, Wiki, Repository), can be accessed in the following ways:

1- Go to Groups > Group > Contents, if you want to access the tools of a particular group.

2- Go to the Tools option, in the menu on the left hand side of the portal's main page, if you want to access the tools belonging to the portal.
