a) To edit a Wiki document
1- Go to the Wiki document. If the document belongs to the portal, select it by using the Tools option in the menu on the left hand side of the portal's main page. If it belongs to a group, go to Groups > Group > Contents > Wiki. If it is a personal Wiki document, go to Personal zone > Own contents > Wiki.
2- Click on Edit.
3- You will see a page where you
can edit your text. The page contains an HTML text editor
similar to the other tools on the platform. With this
editor you can add formatting to the text and also
images and links. For more information about how to
use it go to the section on How
to use the text editor.
4- Click on Save.
b) To add comments to an existing Wiki document
1- Go to the Wiki document. If the document belongs to the portal, select it by using the Tools option in the menu on the left hand side of the portal's main page. If it belongs to a group, go to Groups > Group > Contents > Wiki. If it is a personal Wiki document, go to Personal zone > Own contents > Wiki.
2- Write your comment in the space Add a comment.
3- Click on Save when you have finished
writing.
c) To add new documents linked to an existing Wiki
document
1- When you edit the text of an existing document you can
add a link to another document even if the document has not
yet been created. When you save, a link to the new document
will appear. If you click on this link, you will be taken
to the new document. It will appear without any content and
can then be edited.
To create a new document from the document you are editing
you only need to add a link, selecting the text you want to
use for the link and clicking on the option
in the text editor. When you do this, the window shown below
opens. This allows you to link to a website, an existing wiki
document or a new document. Select this last option and put
a name to the new document:
