To delete or block discussions in a forum.

1- Go to the Forum you are interested in. If it belongs to a particular group, go to Groups > Group > Contents > Forum. If you want to access a Forum belonging to the portal, you only need to select it using the Tools option in the menu on the left hand side of the portal's main page.

2- Click on the title of the thread you want to delete or block.

3- In the horizontal menu you will see under the title of the Forum you will find the options Delete this thread and Block this thread. Select the option you want. Remember that if you delete a thread it cannot be restored and if you choose this option you will see a screen asking you to confirm that you want to delete.

4- Blocked threads are marked with the symbol on the main page of the Forum. If you click on the title of a blocked thread, you can read posts but you cannot add any new ones. The button shows that the discussion is closed.

5- To unblock a thread which has been blocked you only need to click on the title. You will see the posts and in the horizontal menu under the title you will find the Unlock this topic option. You only need to click on this and the topic will be reopened.
