ICT 2010 is organised by the European Commission and hosted by the Belgian Presidency of the European Union.

Europe's most visible forum for ICT research and innovation

This biennial event has become a unique gathering point for researchers, business people, investors, and high level policy makers in the field of digital innovation. ICT 2010 will focus on policy priorities such as Europe's Digital Agenda and the next financial programme of the European Union for funding research and innovation in ICT.

At ICT 2010:

ICT 2010 Exhibition: cutting edge research

Experience Europe's latest cutting edge research in digital technologies at the ICT 2010 exhibition.

Researchers from all parts of Europe and beyond will present their latest work in upstream ICT innovation as well as close-to-market projects. This is an opportunity to explore what is happening at the coal face in your area of interest and to find potential future collaborators.

Belgium's national pavilion will, in addition, showcase the innovation spirit of the host country through a range of Belgian digital solutions.

Call for exhibition proposals a great success!

We invited exhibition proposals from all sorts of actors in ICT research: universities, research institutes, non-profit organisations, public authorities and commercial companies.

All proposers have received an e-mail informing them about whether they have been selected or not. The ICT 2010 team has now finished evaluating the exhibition proposals. The full list of selected exhibitors is now published. You can eventually browse them by zones.

  • You will need to register to the event by using these codes.
  • You will receive the guide for the exhibitors on how to prepare your stand and what you will need to include.

Key themes for the 2010 conference:

  • Powering our sustainable future: the potential of digital solutions to promote sustainable growth in a low carbon economy

  • The Human Face of the Digital Age: the continuing constructive role of ICT in the daily life of citizens and the importance of public participation in the innovation process.

The conference will include special sessions presenting the European Union's funding priorities for the 2.8 Billion Euros of EU funding available for ICT research and development during 2011-2012.
